Little Green Notebook Collection on Chairish

If you're a fan of interior design, vintage decor and a bit of DIY there's no doubt that you know Jenny Komenda of the blog Little Green Notebook.

After first finding her blog I immediately related to Jenny.  At that time she was living in Brooklyn (as did I!), then she moved to Arizona (as did I!) and she's a thrifter!  We're practically soul sisters, though she is much handier with power tools than I am.  In addition to having tons of great ideas and great style she is also a contributor to Domino magazine. She recently curated a collection of jewelry on Chairish, which just so happens to include two of my pieces!

See all the lovely pieces on Chairish here.

Pinspiration: Yum!

In honor of the upcoming holidays I thought I would feature my Yum! board.  I know this blog is about vintage decor but, you know, a girl has got to eat!  As I was going over my board certain things became very clear, I like figs and I like chickpeas!  LOTS of recipes featuring both of those items. Also, these are not necessarily holiday recipes, just gorgeous food pics.

Full disclosure - I haven't tried most of these recipes but they sure do look good.  Also, I'm mostly vegetarian, so no manly, meaty meals here.

I have tried this one and it's one of my favorite breakfasts.  It's actually good anytime of day.  Super easy and super tasty. Use the link for the recipe. Now I want this.  Like right now.

I have been dreaming about this cheese board since I pinned it.  I'm not even kidding. I could eat this every. single. day. and be happy forever.  Seriously.

I need to try this one soon. Now that fall has finally arrived in the desert I can start thinking about soups, stews and this yummy curry.

It's kind of insane how good this spinach and artichoke grilled cheese sandwich looks.  I think I'm drooling.

I LOVE Chimichurri Sauce but it's usually paired with steak or chicken so this option with fish is a must try for me.

Alright so are you hungry yet?  Do you have any favorite food pins?  Share below.

Pinspiration Tuesday: Interiors/Living Room

Hello, my name is Francine and I am a Pinterest addict.  Seriously.  I have rediscovered and have become slightly, eh, full on obsessed with pinning!

Below are my favorite living rooms found around the web of late.  As you will see I like color! Obviously.  But the last photo is absolutely one of may favorites.  So warm and inviting.  I could easily wile away the day with a good book, newspaper and cup of tea... ahh.

Do you have a favorite?  Let me know in the comments below.

Want to see more?  Most of the pins came from the Interiors and my Living Room boards.

Want to see all of my fabulous pins?  (Of course you do!).  Here is the link.

So bright and cheery but not in your face COLOR! I want to hang out in this room.  Like all day. Every day.

This yellow sideboard is a bit loud but the neutral seating balances it our perfectly.  LOVE!

Dear Emily Henderson, You're awesome.  Sincerely, Francine.  Seriously.  Love her style.  Whimsy, colorful, pulled together. Perfect.

Muted earth tones, simple but not boring at all.  Now, where's my book and my tea? Or maybe some wine.....

Pinspiration Tuesday: Collections

Collections - the antidote to minimalism.  My particular design philosophy is basically "more, please".  If I like something, well, I really like it and one just isn't enough.  Hence my "When One is Not Enough" board on Pinterest.

Here are some of my favorite pins from that collection of collections!

Amazing Paint by Numbers Collection!

Use the link to see the more of her collection.  Extensive, is the word that comes to mind to describe it!

Dusting is not fun, but I love the combination of shapes, textures, and colors in collections.

Are you a minimalist or a maximalist?  Any of the above favorites?  Lots more collections on the board
